Jake Rademacher at Growers Supplies Agronomist (Warooka, SA), says the Yorke Peninsula is experiencing one of its best autumn starts in recent years, with crops emerging within 5–7 days of planting and paddocks greening up early. However, the season hasn’t been without challenges, with growers staying vigilant around green bridge risks. Snails are currently the biggest pest concern in the region, holding some crops back.
