Sapna Kahapalaarachchige

Sapna Kahapalaarachchige is a Research Assistant with the Fungicide Resistance team at CCDM. She works on fungicide resistance management in apple scab, supporting diagnostics, molecular analysis, and in vivo infection assays. Sapna completed her Master’s degree in Agriculture at Curtin University and her Bachelor’s Honours degree in Biotechnology at Northumbria University. She is driven to make a meaningful impact in plant pathology and biotechnology, using science and technology to support resilient, sustainable agricultural systems.
