Aiza is a PhD student from the Philippines working on the genome-wide analysis, phenotype and management metadata of the barley net blotch pathogen under fungicide selection. Her other research interests include mycotoxigenic fungi, macrofungi and etiology of cereal diseases. She earned her MS Plant Pathology in the Iowa State University, USA under the Fulbright-CHED Grant and BS Agriculture major in Plant Pathology in the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).
