Biography

Yuphin Khentry is a research assistant in the CCDM’s canola disease research team, supporting researchers Mark Derbyshire and Toby Newman who work to identify partial sclerotinia stem rot resistance in canola aimed at helping breeders develop more resistant canola varieties.

Yuphin has a great passion for plant science and is an avid nature photographer. Yuphin’s motto is “Agriculture is my blood. I love plants and am fascinated by them. Working as a plant scientist is the perfect career for me. I can use science as an instrument for investigation to find useful information to share with growers and industry”.
