My main area of interest is modelling physical systems, previously using dynamical systems or asymptotic approaches as the primary modelling tools. My Honours thesis focused on application of fluid dynamics to an industrial context, where I modelled the gas removal stage of liquid glass production. On joining CCDM in 2023 this focus has shifted to more statistically based methods. Under C4AP and AAGI, my primary responsibilities are data analysis and modelling of trials, with flexibility to assist with adjacent problems where needed. Through this work I have developed a strong interest in statistical learning techniques and analysis of large datasets.
