Dr Frank van den Bosch is a biologist/plant pathologist and a modeller. His research focuses on the development and application of models to study the dynamics of plant pests and pathogens. This work is developed in close collaboration with field and laboratory experimental programs. Frank has pioneered methods to develop effective fungicide resistance management methods. The methods developed provide new insights as well as underpinning of practical resistance management.
Frank is currently an associate professor at Curtin University, where he helps develop resistance management methods for net-blotch in barley. Frank is also consultant at RSK-ADAS with main topic fungicide efficacy and resistance management.
