Dr Elizabeth (Liz) Czislowski is a molecular plant pathologist passionate about solving big, real-world problems through molecular biology. Currently, Liz is working as a postdoctoral researcher with the Fungicide Resistance group at CCDM. Dr Czislowski completed her PhD at the University of Queensland (UQ) on the fungal disease of banana, Fusarium wilt. Following the completion of her PhD, Dr. Czislowski continued at UQ as a postdoctoral researcher to work on developing RNA-based biofungicides for plant protection. Dr. Czislowski also has experience in many areas of molecular plant pathology including diagnostics, phylogenetics and bioassay development.
