Originally from the UK, Caroline relocated to Australia to pursue a postdoctoral career in molecular plant pathology and was part of the inaugural research team involved in establishing the CCDM.
As the cereal disease Theme Leader at the CCDM, Caroline’s role synthesises molecular biology, genetics and bioinformatics with the ultimate aim of reducing the economic impact of cereal diseases to the Australian grains industry.
Caroline is passionate about transitioning research outputs out of the lab into real world outcomes, and is a fervent supporter of promoting women in science.
