With over twenty years’ experience, Adam has been part of different organisations in agricultural research in academia, an international NGO and state government. His interests and expertise include modelling, plant pathology, epidemiology, agronomy, crop disease management, biometry and programming with a strong ethos of open science and reproducible research.
His research and development work has resulted in a country-wide crop monitoring system in the Philippines that incorporates on-the-ground observations with satellite imagery, a new model that described what drives changes in plant pathogen populations and a whole farm model that can be used to inform liming decisions for soil pH amelioration as well as several open-source research tools for other researchers to use in their own work.
